Fate The Winx Saga | Season 3 Episode 6 | Kingdom and a Child (6)
2 YEARS LATER
Bloom stood in her Alfea dorm room, surrounded by packed boxes, taking a moment to absorb the weight of the day. She was on a phone call with her mother.
"Yes, Mom, don't worry. I've packed that already. You don't have to worry, I won't forget anything. Oh, and be ready by 7 pm tonight—I'll come by a portal to pick you up for my graduation ceremony," Bloom said, trying to reassure her mother while feeling the bittersweet emotions swirling inside her.
Tonight was the night. Her graduation from Alfea was finally here.
"Okay, Mom, got it. Love you, bye," she said, hanging up the call. She paused, taking a deep breath as she looked around her dorm room. This was it—the moment she'd both anticipated and dreaded. Saying goodbye to Alfea, to the place that had become her home, felt surreal. Four years ago, she was just a scared girl, unsure of herself and her powers, not knowing where she truly belonged. But now, after all she had been through, she finally felt like she had found her place.
"Mind if I come in?" Sky's voice interrupted her thoughts. He stood at the doorway, smiling.
"Sky! You made it!" Bloom exclaimed, her face lighting up as she rushed to hug and kiss him.
"Yup, wasn't easy, but you didn't think I was gonna miss today, did you? It's your graduation!" he said, holding her close.
"Yeah, I still can't believe it," Bloom replied, her voice filled with a mixture of disbelief and excitement.
Sky grinned as he looked at Bloom. "Well, believe it. You've earned it. Let's be honest, Alfea—or, well, the whole Otherworld—hasn't been the same since you arrived. You changed the world," he said, teasing slightly, but there was truth in his words. The Otherworld was a very different place before Bloom's arrival, and she had indeed transformed it in ways no one could have imagined.
"Everything used to be so normal and boring before you," Sky added.
Bloom chuckled. "Yeah, well, your definition of normal is very different from mine. Where I came from, people having magical abilities wasn't exactly normal. Trust me, this place was never boring for me."
Sky laughed. "Fair point".
"So, tell me, how's the training going?", Bloom asked.
"It's going great," Sky replied. "Just a few more weeks, and then I'll be upgraded to the next level of training. I'll finally be able to go on actual missions as one of the official Otherworld's royal guards."
Sky, Stella, and Riven had graduated the previous year, and Sky had immediately known he wanted to be a protector, a guard. He had joined the royal army and had been in training ever since.
"But today isn't about me. It's completely about you. Are you ready?" Sky asked, leaning in to kiss Bloom again.
Just as their lips met, Aisha walked in. "Ahmm," she cleared her throat, interrupting the moment with a grin. "Sorry, but I gotta do some packing here, please," Aisha joked as she started gathering her belongings.
"Sorry, Aisha," Sky said, a little embarrassed.
Bloom smirked. "No, no, don't apologize to her—not after what happened when I caught her and Grey—"
Aisha blushed furiously and quickly interrupted, "It was one time, okay? Let it go!" They all burst into laughter, the room filled with warmth and camaraderie.
"Knock knock. May I interrupt?" Stella's voice came from the doorway.
"Stella, you're back too!" Bloom exclaimed, turning to see her friend standing there.
"I thought you said you couldn't make it," Aisha asked, surprised.
"Oh yes, my duties were not going to allow me to, but I couldn't miss this, so I snuck out of the castle!" Stella said with a mischievous grin. "Plus, I needed a break from all the royal duties. It's fun and all, but let's just say I needed a day off."
"Oh, that's perfect that you're back! Now you can help me get ready," Terra said as she entered the room, beaming.
Stella smirked, shaking her head. "No can do, sorry. I've got plans."
Everyone noticed how fancy she was dressed, even though it was still early for the ceremony. "Yeah, I was going to ask why you're dressed so fancy with so much time before the ceremony," Bloom said, curious.
"I've got a date," Stella revealed with a playful smile.
"Oh wow, that's awesome!" Terra said, genuinely happy for Stella. It was a big step for Stella to fully move on from Sky and start dating again. Sky might have been her first love, but he wasn't the love of her life.
"With who?" Bloom asked, intrigued.
"Brandon," Stella said, her eyes lighting up.
It was a sweet moment, everyone sensing that Stella was finally finding happiness again. Suddenly, Riven entered the room, looking around.
Musa, who was in the living room just outside Bloom's dorm, perked up at the sight of him. Even though the suite was small and everyone could hear everything going on, the mood shifted slightly.
"Did you tell them yet?" Riven asked Musa, his tone gentle but with a hint of urgency.
Musa looked at the group, a mix of emotions on her face.
"Nope, just about to," Musa said as she called everyone into the living room to share her news.
With a wide smile, she announced, "I got accepted into the Solarian Dance Academy!"
The room erupted with cheers and applause. The Solarian Dance Academy was renowned for its excellence, and only those with exceptional talent were admitted. Musa's acceptance was a huge achievement.
"Oh my god, this is so cool! The Solarian Dance Academy is so close to Medicix! Now we can hang out all day," Flora said with excitement. She was thrilled for Musa and eagerly anticipated their future hangouts.
Medicix, the medical school for fairies, was where Flora was heading after graduation. She wanted to become a magic medic, helping people and curing them. Her skills in potion-making and medicine were perfect for this path.
Stella, now the Princess of Solaria, was taking charge of royal affairs alongside Queen Marion. With Queen Luna gone, Stella had stepped up to hold the kingdom together, and she was doing an exceptional job.
Sky was in training to become a royal guard of the Otherworld, preparing to protect and safeguard it from all dangers. He was dedicated to his mission and excited about his future role.
Flora was looking forward to inventing new ways to cure people and help those in need, while Terra was set to take over the Greenhouse from her retiring father.
Everyone had their paths laid out, pursuing their dreams and making the most of their talents. They had worked hard and were excited about their futures. Almost all of them, that is.
FIRE
As the evening approached, the small gathering at Alfea was bustling with excitement. Bloom, overwhelmed by the attention and her introverted nature, decided to escape the crowd. She made her way outside Alfea to a quiet bench near the border.
Aisha, swimming in the nearby Alfea lake, noticed Bloom and approached her. "Losing control again?" Aisha joked, referencing Bloom's first day at Alfea when a similar situation had led to a bit of chaos.
Bloom smiled faintly. "Hey, what's wrong?" Aisha asked, joining Bloom on the bench.
"Tell me something, Aisha," Bloom began, "are you still sticking with your plan to become headmaster of Alfea, starting as a teacher?"
"Yup, I've already applied for the job," Aisha confirmed. "Why do you ask?"
"Nothing, it's just that everyone seems to have everything figured out—what they want to do in life, all that stuff," Bloom said. "And I don't know what I want to be now that Alfea is over and we're graduating. I can't just go back to the first world and pretend like nothing happened. I can't just be an engineer or artist like I had planned earlier."
"Look, Bloom," Aisha said, "no one has it all figured out. I have a plan, yes, but that doesn't mean I'll end up doing everything according to it. Who knows, maybe someday I'll find something else that excites me more and I'll change my path. We don't know what's going to happen or where we'll end up. We figure it out along the way. Don't worry, you'll find your way eventually."
Bloom felt reassured by Aisha's words. "Thanks, Aisha. I needed that."
"Now come on," Aisha said, standing up. "The graduation ceremony is about to begin."
Bloom followed her back, feeling a bit more at ease as the ceremony drew near. The future was uncertain, but with friends like Aisha and the experiences she had gained, Bloom knew she would eventually find her path.
As Bloom walked with Aisha to the graduation ceremony, she reflected on a poignant conversation she had with her mother four years ago. Her mom had said, "I always knew your path wouldn't be like everyone else's, not like mine or your father's, and that's hard. But at the end of it, I can't wait to see who you've become."
Recalling her mom's words, Bloom felt a deep sense of pride in how far she had come. The uncertainty she felt was overshadowed by the realization of her growth and achievements. She embraced the moment and moved forward with renewed confidence.
The graduation ceremony was a beautiful and emotional event. When Bloom was called to the stage, she was introduced with glowing praise: "The most powerful fairy the Otherworld had seen in a long time, the fairy who protected them all from not one but multiple threats including Burned Ones, Sebastian, Dark Queen Marion, Isobel, and Valtor."
Hearing these words, Bloom was struck by the magnitude of her journey and the impact she had made. It was a moment of clarity and pride, understanding the significance of her role in the Otherworld's history.
After receiving their degrees, the celebration continued with dancing. Bloom joined her friends, feeling a sense of joy and accomplishment. As they danced together, she realized that while her future was uncertain, the experiences and friendships she had gained were invaluable. The night was a fitting celebration of the end of one chapter and the beginning of the next.
As Bloom and Sky danced, Bloom confided, "I finally know what I want to do and who I want to be." Before Sky could respond, an announcement interrupted the moment, inviting all students to head outside for a special activity organized by the 3rd-year students.
Outside, the scene was enchanting. Lanterns illuminated the night sky, and each graduate was given a lantern to write their dreams and aspirations on before letting it float away. The activity was meant to symbolize their hopes and the possibilities of their futures.
Each graduate wrote their deepest aspirations:
Musa: "To become the greatest dancer and singer the Otherworld has ever seen."
Flora: "Someone who makes cures for diseases that no one has cured before and gets to help people."
Stella: "To be a kind and just ruler and ensure Solaria grows and improves every day, honouring her mother's legacy."
Sky: "To be the greatest Royal Guard the Otherworld has seen."
Terra: "To make her father and family proud, take care of the greenhouse, be around nature forever, and help all newcomers to Alfea feel at home."
Aisha: "To be the next greatest Headmaster of Alfea."
Bloom took a deep breath, feeling inspired by the heartfelt dreams of her friends. She picked up her lantern and began to write her own aspiration, knowing that whatever the future held, it would be shaped by her experiences and the people who had been with her on this journey.
As each lantern was released into the night sky, the scene became a beautiful tapestry of glowing dreams, reflecting the hopes and ambitions of a new generation ready to face the world with courage and determination.
Sky looked at Bloom with admiration. "What did you write?"
Bloom smiled and revealed her lantern, "To become the Guardian of the Otherworld!"
"I've been given this power, the Dragon Flame, as a gift. I've been scared of it until now. But now, I want to use it to help people, protect them from the dangers of the Otherworld, and ensure this world is safe from villains like Sebastian, the Burned Ones, and more," Bloom explained. Sky's pride was evident.
As the night deepened, they all gathered around a campfire, its warm glow casting a comforting light. Laughter, dancing, and singing filled the air as Bloom, Stella, Flora, Terra, Musa, Riven, Sky, Beatrix, and Kat shared this special moment. It was a time of joy and reflection, celebrating their journey and the future ahead.
Amid the warmth of the fire and the closeness of friends, it was a moment of pure happiness. They had faced many challenges, but now they were ready to pursue their dreams and make their mark on the world. It was one of those rare, beautiful moments that made life feel extraordinary.
WINX
All the girls had their suitcases packed and were preparing to leave Alfea. This was their last day. It was time to go home. Bloom, Musa, Stella, Flora, Aisha, Riven, Beatrix, Sky, and Brandon were all there.
"Come on, what's taking her so long?" Stella asked.
"Sorry, I'm here. I just needed to set a few things up. I'm so glad you all are still here," Terra said, arriving.
"Of course, we could never leave without saying goodbye," Stella replied. Terra would be staying at Alfea while everyone else was heading home.
"I can't believe this might be one of the last times we're all together," Terra said, her voice wavering with emotion.
"Oh, don't say that. After everything we've been through, we'll always be best friends," Musa said, giving her roommate a hug.
"Yeah, to be honest, we've defeated so many enemies and gone on countless missions. We should give our group a name, like a club or something," Stella joked.
"How about the Winx Suite Club?" Aisha suggested.
"How about just 'Winx Club'?" Bloom proposed.
They all said their goodbyes and were about to leave Alfea when, suddenly, they saw a girl approaching the main gate. She was covered in dust and could barely walk.
"Please help," the girl called out.
Bloom and the others rushed to her side. "Are you okay? Who are you?" Bloom asked.
"My name is Tecna. When Queen Marion released Valtor from the Forgotten Realm, I sneaked out with him and ended up in this world. I've been hiding ever since, trying to gain strength and power. I just learned about you, Bloom. Please, I need your help," Tecna explained.
Bloom and the others were stunned. "How is that possible? Queen Luna said Valtor was sent to a forgotten realm where no one is alive. He was banished there, so how did you come back with him?" Bloom asked.
"It's a forgotten realm, but not a dead one. Many centuries ago, my realm was destroyed and frozen in time. Time doesn't move there, and we don't age. We lived there for centuries, trying to find a way out, but no one came to rescue us because everyone thought the realm was dead. It's called the 'Zenith Realm,' and it's very much alive. I am its princess, and I need your help to save my people and bring them back!" Tecna said.
This was a lot to take in, but Bloom nodded. "Don't worry. You've come to the right place. Come on, guys, let's get her inside," Bloom said. Everyone nodded in agreement, ready to help Tecna. This was what they had always wanted to do—to help people. It seemed they had a new mission.
Aisha was right. Life doesn't just hand out happy endings; it keeps moving and changing you and everyone around you. But before it ends, you figure out what you want to do and make it happen. Bloom and her friends had found their calling: to help those in need and make the world a better place. And it was perfect. It was their FATE.
