Fate The Winx Saga | Season 3 Episode 6 | Kingdom and a Child (2)
UNDERWORLD
Bloom was inside the castle, racing up the stairs toward the top floor, determined to find the Codex before Marion. As she hurried along, someone attacked her from behind, causing her to fall.
Struggling to see who had struck her, Bloom looked up to find Rosalind standing over her. Bloom sprang to her feet, but Rosalind was too swift. She used her magic to slam Bloom against the wall and trapped her there, immobilizing her.
"I never thought this day would come. I've waited so long for this," Rosalind said coldly.
"What do you want from me?" Bloom asked, struggling to break free.
"Isn't it obvious? I want revenge for what you did to me," Rosalind answered.
"I— I lost control of my powers—" Bloom started to explain.
"Shut up!" Rosalind interrupted. "You forget, Bloom, I was there. I know what happened. I saw it in your eyes. You wanted to kill me. You let your powers loose and had no regrets at the time. You killed me!"
"You killed Miss Dowling," Bloom said, but Rosalind ignored her and continued.
"And after everything I did for you—did you forget that I was the one who saved you from Aster Dell? I was the one who sent Valtor to imprisonment. Yes, he was hiding in Aster Dell, not yet strong. He wanted the Dragon Flame to gain power. He wanted you. He was after you, Bloom. He was the one who captured you as a child," Rosalind shouted.
"What did he want from me?" Bloom asked.
"I don't know that. And even if I did, I wouldn't tell you. You see, he captured you, but I defeated him. He was immortal, so our attack on Aster Dell only weakened him, not killed him. I used my magic to send him to a forgotten realm—a place lost in time, a kingdom destroyed centuries ago. The point is, I banished him forever and then saved you. And how do you repay me? You kill me. Now it's time for my revenge."
Just as Rosalind was about to kill Bloom, something unexpected happened. Rosalind flew a few feet into the air, seemingly controlled by an unseen force. Bloom found herself freed from her magical prison. Rosalind's neck broke, and she fell to the ground, lifeless. It was in the same exact manner she had killed Farah once.
Bloom looked around, trying to understand who killed Rosalind and saved her. Her eyes widened in shock as she saw Farah Dowling standing right in front of her.
"Oh my God—Miss Dowling!" Bloom exclaimed, disbelief in her voice as she rushed to hug her.
"Thank you for saving me," Bloom said, her voice trembling with gratitude.
"Wait, why are you here? Does this mean you're stuck here in the Underworld?" Bloom asked.
"No, Bloom. I'm not stuck here. I'm here just for you, to help you. The Underworld is a connection between your world and the afterlife. It's hard to explain fully, but just know that I'm here to assist you," Miss Dowling explained, her comforting words soothing Bloom. It was a relief to see a familiar face in this grim new land.
"You once wished someone could tell you what you had to do. I still can't tell you what to do, but I can tell you this: you don't have to do this alone. Your power is stronger than you think. Share your burdens, this magic, all of it, with the people who care about you, let them help you Bloom, and I promise, you will succeed" Miss Dowling advised.
"Bloom!" a voice called from behind. Bloom turned to see Sky and the Winx standing there. Bloom looked back and Farah had vanished, Sky rushed and hugged Bloom.
"How are you guys here?" Bloom asked, astonished.
"We weren't going to let you save the world alone and take all the credit," Stella joked. Bloom smiled.
"But wait, outside, how did you get past my mom and Oritel?" Bloom asked, puzzled.
"There was no one outside, Bloom. We just saw this castle and came here," Sky explained.
Bloom felt a pang of confusion about her mother's whereabouts but had little time to dwell on it. Suddenly, a voice echoed from behind them—it was the gatekeeper.
"Well, well, well. Looks like you're on your way. Hurry along now, Bloom. There's one thing I forgot to mention about the deal we signed. You see, it has a time limit, so you'd better be quick," the gatekeeper said with a smirk.
"Deal? What does he—" Sky began, but Bloom quickly explained the deal she had made with the gatekeeper. Sky's expression darkened as he realized the truth.
"That's not the gatekeeper, Bloom. He's Lord Darker, the king of the Underworld, banished to this realm. His escape would wreak havoc in the Otherworld," Sky said urgently.
"Oops, guess I forgot to mention that part," Lord Darker said nonchalantly. He was lying this entire time about being gatekeeper. "Doesn't matter though, you've already signed the deal."
"You're out of your damn mind if you think I'd still help you," Bloom retorted.
"Wrong move, princess. I'll have to persuade you the old-fashioned way. I'll just have to kill your friends, and then you'll be the one begging for a deal to bring them back. But on second thought, I'll let the Underworld do it for me. No normal fairy or specialist can survive here. Toodles for now. See you when everyone is dead," Lord Darker said with a sinister grin before disappearing.
"Okay, not to state the obvious, but how exactly are we going to survive here? No normal fairy like us has ever survived this place and lived to tell the tale. Everyone dies here," Terra said, her voice tinged with fear.
Everyone felt a surge of anxiety, but Bloom suddenly realized something. "I finally understand what Miss Dowling was trying to say," Bloom said with renewed determination.
The group looked at her in confusion.
"We can survive here— all of us," Bloom declared.
"But how? I've read about the Underworld, Bloom. It's not an easy place to survive," Aisha said.
"And with powers like ours," Stella added, when Bloom interrupted.
"I finally understand how you guys were able to transform that day. I think that's what Miss Dowling was trying to tell me, that I can share my powers," Bloom said.
"Miss Dowling?" Musa asked in shock.
"That's not important right now. What's important is this," Bloom said. She closed her eyes and concentrated, asking everyone to hold hands. They did, and Bloom used her magic to transfer it among them. It was a power no one knew was possible until this moment.
"Bloom, what did you just do?" Terra asked, her curiosity piqued.
"I shared the Dragon Flame; now you all have a part of it within you too, It'll amplify your powers" Bloom said.
"Wait, what? That's possible?" Stella asked in shock.
"Apparently so," Bloom replied.
"How did you even know—"
"That's not important. We have to go, now," Bloom said.
"Alright then, lead the way," Sky said.
Bloom had transferred the Dragon Flame to all the Winx's powers and to Sky's and Riven's swords. Now they all possessed a touch of the legendary ancient power, enough to make them strong enough to survive in the Underworld.
As they progressed upstairs, Stella suddenly stopped. "Wait, did you hear that?"
She heard a noise. In an instant, the sound became clear to everyone. It was a frighteningly familiar noise.
"Wait, I know this, it's—" Musa began, but Terra interrupted, shouting while pointing, "BURNED ONES!"
Suddenly, the creatures leaped out from every corner. Bloom created a fire shield around everyone. "There are too many of them. We'll never be able to reach the Codex in time, we have to get there before my mother" Bloom said.
"No, you guys go. We can't stop moving. Half of us will stay here and fight them, making sure they don't follow you," Flora said. Everyone agreed.
Flora, Terra, Musa, and Riven stayed to fight the Burned Ones while Stella, Sky, Aisha, and Bloom continued upstairs.
Bloom, Stella, Sky, and Aisha ascended the stairs quickly, but the fight below was reaching a fever pitch. As they climbed, they could hear the clash of magic and the roars of the Burned Ones echoing through the castle.
Downstairs, Flora, Terra, Musa, and Riven faced a relentless onslaught. The Burned Ones, their fiery eyes glowing with malevolence, surged forward from every shadowed corner.
"Watch out!" Terra shouted, summoning a wall of earth that rose from the ground to shield them from a wave of fiery attacks. The wall crumbled under the force but bought them a precious moment.
Musa stood nearby, her eyes glowing with concentration. With a swift gesture, she used her mind powers to send a telekinetic blast towards a cluster of Burned Ones, sending them sprawling. "We've got to hold them off! We can't let them overwhelm us!"
Riven, wielding his sword with expert precision, cleaved through the burned ones that charged at him. His movements were a fluid dance of steel and skill. As he fought, he glanced over at Musa, who was using her powers to assist him. Their eyes met, and a brief smile flashed across Riven's face.
"Stay close!" Riven shouted, parrying an attack from a particularly aggressive Burned One. He blocked a fiery swipe with his sword and turned to see Musa struggling to fend off a swarm of enemies.
Musa's focus was intense. She raised her hands, and with a burst of psychic energy, she flung the Burned Ones backward. Riven, noticing her exertion, moved to her side, his sword slashing through the air to clear a path.
"Are you okay?" Riven asked between strikes.
"Just a bit tired," Musa replied, her voice tinged with a mix of fatigue and determination.
Their brief exchange was interrupted as more Burned Ones emerged from the darkness. Terra, using her earth powers, created massive boulders that rolled into the fray, crushing several enemies under their weight. Flora summoned vines that wrapped around the Burned Ones, restraining them temporarily.
Despite their efforts, the Burned Ones kept coming. The castle's dark halls were filled with the sounds of battle: the clash of weapons, the crackle of magic, and the guttural roars of their foes.
FIRE
As the fight continued, Bloom and the others climbed higher in the castle. Bloom's heart pounded, not just from the exertion but from the urgency of their mission. Suddenly, as they rounded a corner, Bloom was struck from behind by a powerful force, sending her sprawling against the cold stone floor.
"Bloom!" Sky shouted, rushing to her side.
"Miss me?" said a voice from behind.
"Sebastian," Stella said in complete anger.
"Bloom, you go ahead. I've got this. He almost killed me the last time I saw him. It's time I take my revenge," Sky said, drawing his sword.
"No way I'm missing this. He killed Beatrix. I'm not going anywhere," Stella said.
Bloom and Aisha knew they had to keep moving, so they went upstairs. Sebastian tried to stop them, but Stella used her magic and stopped him. "Oh wow, looks like someone's gotten stronger. Guess it'll be extra fun now," Sebastian said.
.............................................................................................
It was now Musa, Riven, Flora, and Terra fighting against the Burned Ones, Stella and Sky battling Sebastian, and Bloom and Aisha racing upstairs to find the Codex and stop Marion.
................................................................................................
Bloom and Aisha finally made it to the top floor. Marion was already there. The Codex was stuck in a stone, and Marion was trying to break it out.
"Stop!" Bloom shouted.
"Well, well, well, you finally made it," Marion said.
"How did you get here? Where's Oritel?" Bloom asked.
"Oh, I killed him, of course," Marion said.
This revelation enraged Bloom. She had had enough of Dark Marion. This version was preventing Bloom from meeting the real Marion and had just killed Bloom's father. She wanted to meet him and ask why he said she wasn't her daughter, if he isn't her real father then who is!
"You killed my father!" Bloom said, her voice filled with rage, ready to fight.
"Oh, I wouldn't worry too much about that if I were you, Bloom. It's not like he was your actual father anyway," Marion said.
Bloom's focus completely broke. "What?" she said.
"Oops, I forgot. You still know nothing about who you are. Too bad you never will," Marion said, continuing to break out the Codex.
Bloom had truly had enough of all the lies and mysteries. It was time to end it.
"Aisha, get out of here!" Bloom shouted.
Aisha tried to resist but knew she couldn't stop Bloom now.
Bloom was furious and powerful, fire blazing from all over her body. She closed her eyes, looked up, and suddenly wings appeared behind her.
"Oh really? You're going to stop me? The fairy who's scared of her own powers? And what if you lose control?" Marion taunted.
"Oh, I'm counting on it. Sometimes it's best to just lose control," Bloom said, unleashing a fiery blast.
LIGHT
Stella and Sky faced Sebastian in the dark corridor of the castle. The tension was thick as Sebastian readied himself for the fight.
"Ready for a rematch, Sebastian?" Sky asked, gripping his sword with a determined look.
Sebastian smirked. "I've been waiting for this. It's always more fun when there's light involved."
Stella raised her hand and a burst of bright light flared, briefly lighting up the corridor. "This ends now. We won't let you stop us."
Sebastian darted toward them, his dark blade aimed at Sky. Sky blocked the strike with his sword, sending sparks flying. He quickly recovered and glared at Sebastian.
"Your tricks won't work this time!" Sky shouted, swinging his sword at Sebastian. Sebastian barely dodged, the blade missing him by inches.
Stella used her light magic to create a glowing shield around herself and Sky. She then fired beams of light at Sebastian, who staggered, struggling against the intense brightness.
"Light is my power," Stella said firmly. "You can't hide from it."
Sebastian, now surrounded by swirling shadows, appeared behind Stella. His dark blade aimed at her back, but Sky, sensing the attack, jumped in front of her. He blocked the strike with a strong swing of his sword.
"Not today!" Sky shouted, his sword glowing brightly as it struck Sebastian's blade and forced him back. Sebastian stumbled, clearly weakened by the attack.
Sebastian tried to fight back, summoning a whirlwind of dark energy. The force pushed toward Stella and Sky, but Stella created a shield of light that pushed the dark energy away.
"Keep going!" Stella urged. "We can't let him win!"
Sky nodded and charged at Sebastian again, his sword crackling with fire. Sebastian tried to avoid the attack, but the shield of light had weakened him. Sky's sword hit Sebastian, burning him. Sky's sword had the power of dragon flame in it, thanks to Bloom.
Sebastian roared in pain as Stella focused her power into a powerful beam of light, her power was also magnified because of what Bloom did. The beam hit Sebastian, causing him to writhe and scream. His dark form started to disappear.
Breathing heavily, Stella and Sky looked around the now-empty corridor. They had won this fight, but more challenges awaited. They quickly turned and headed back to their friends, ready for whatever came next.
