Fate The Winx Saga | Season 3 Episode 3 | Behind the Mask (3)

EARTH

Terra and Kat searched the party for Aisha, but she was nowhere to be found. Worried, Terra headed back to the greenhouse. Upon arriving, she found her father and the light fairies unconscious on the flooded floor. Aisha was draining water from their bodies, dehydrating them to the point of fainting.

"Aisha!" Terra shouted, her glasses revealing the darkness surrounding Aisha. Removing her glasses, Terra confronted her. "What are you doing?"

Aisha turned her dark magic towards Terra. Just in time, Kat intervened. "Stay away from her!" Kat's sword disrupted Aisha's focus. Terra was freed, but Aisha targeted Kat next. She closed her eyes and concentrated and started attacking Kat the same way she attacked others.

Seeing her chance, Terra moved towards a table where her father almost completed the potion. As she reached for it, Aisha sensed the movement and opened her eyes. Water splashed towards Terra's hand, holding the potion. Swiftly, Terra used her other hand to create a protective branch, saving the potion from falling.

Amidst the struggle, Kat battled Aisha. Terra manipulated her branch, guiding it towards them. Kat's superior fighting skills allowed her to overpower Aisha. Straddling Aisha, Kat pinned her arms, preventing her from using magic. Terra's branch extended towards them, delivering the potion. With determined precision, Terra poured the potion into Aisha's mouth, hoping for a cure.

The effects were immediate. Aisha's struggle weakened, the darkness receding. She gasped for air, consciousness returning. Kat maintained her guard as Aisha regained control. Terra held her breath, awaiting the outcome of the potion's intervention.

Slowly, Aisha's eyes cleared, confusion and realization flooding in. "Terra?" she whispered, her voice laced with guilt.

Terra nodded, relief washing over her. The cure had worked. Aisha was back. But their troubles were far from over.

LITTLE STORM

In a dangerous situation, Beatrix, Sky, and Aisha were trapped on the rooftop. Some shadows were enclosed within the tower, while others relentlessly climbed the tower's walls, determined to reach them. Amid the tension, a shadow successfully reached the rooftop. Quick to respond, Beatrix channeled her powers, and defeated the shadow.

Meanwhile, danger loomed as another shadow materialized behind Aisha. Sky's voice broke through the chaos, urgently shouting, "Aisha, watch out!"

In a race against time, Aisha turned, but the shadow was almost upon her, poised to strike. He was about to eat Aisha. Then, something astonishing occurred—Aisha began to emit a radiant glow. In an instant, she vanished from sight, leaving Sky and Beatrix confused. It was because of Terra, her potion worked and it broke Shadow's spell, Aisha was now back to her body and out of the shadows grasp.

However, as for Sky and Beatrix, Shadows continued climbing up the rooftop to eat Sky and Beatrix, they were too many in number, they were slow no doubt but it was just delaying the inevitable. There was no way Beatrix and Sky could face all of the shadows once they climb up, and they had no place to run either. They couldn't go back inside the tower either because shadows were inside as well. Trying to break the door to the rooftop.

FIRE

Bloom found herself on the dance floor with Sky, attempting to engage him in dancing, but his response was dull due to the shadow's control. Growing frustrated, Bloom moved away from him, expressing her annoyance. She didn't like how Sky was so emotionless. So, she went away. However, Sky caught up with her, displaying a willingness to dance now, claiming, "I can be whatever you want, I'm the shadow. I can act just like the real Sky if you want me too" This statement repulsed her, and she distanced herself from him, "No thanks", clearly she was in no mood for stupid mind games of the shadow so she left him.

Bloom had left Alfea and found herself outside, amidst the bustling party. Suddenly, a presence approached her from behind. "Greetings, milady," a masked individual spoke. Concealed behind his own mask, he addressed Bloom in an enigmatic manner.

Amused, Bloom retorted, "Oh, believe me, you don't want to try flirting with me." Her words were laced with a touch of sarcasm.

Curious, the masked stranger countered, "And why's that?"

Bloom responded with a smirk, "Let's just say I'm not your type."

The conversation took an unexpected turn. "Let me be the judge of that. Besides, who mentioned anything about flirting?" The stranger's tone was intriguing.

"I'm here for something far more important," he revealed, his words carrying an air of purpose.

"I can assist you," he added, trying to catch Bloom's attention. However, Bloom's focus seemed to be elsewhere.

Aware of her earlier interaction, the stranger continued, "I saw you conversing with that young lady. I understand your intent, and I possess knowledge of the precise whereabouts of... Codex."

The mention of "Codex" piqued Bloom's interest. She was suddenly captivated by his words. "How—how do you know about Codex?" she inquired quietly, intrigued.

He offered a cryptic explanation, "Let's just say I have my methods. If you choose to follow me, I can show you where it is."

Bloom's scepticism was evident as she questioned, "You really expect me to trust you?"

Undeterred, the stranger responded, "Are you scared? After all, you're the most powerful fairy, Bloom. Can someone like me pose any threat to you? I thought you fearlessly faced anything."

Confident, Bloom stated, "I'm not afraid."

His words seemed to sway her. Convinced by his logic, she relented, agreeing to follow his lead. "However, I'd like to know your name, considering you're already familiar with mine," she requested.

"Call me Andy," he revealed with a hint of mystery, then turned and set off, guiding Bloom along a path to codex.

ALFEA BARRIER

Brandon stood before the formidable barrier that surrounded Alfea, his determination clashing with the barrier's solid resistance. Stella's words had proven true – there seemed to be no way out of Alfea, at least not without the presence of a portal.

Interrupting his thoughts, a voice called out from behind him, "Seems like you're in need of assistance." Intrigued, Brandon turned to face the speaker.

"Who are you?" he inquired, regarding the unfamiliar girl.

She responded with a hint of mystery, "That's not crucial right now. What matters is what I can offer you: a chance to escape Alfea."

Unknown to Brandon, the girl was Beatrix, but under the control of the shadow. The real Beatrix was trapped within the shadow's mind, a secret that she maintained from Brandon.

Perplexed, Brandon questioned further, "What do you mean?"

Beatrix took out a transportation cube and explained what it is.

Beatrix had stolen the transportation cube from Stella's room earlier. It was the transportation cube of Eracklyon, but she kept that from Brandon, all he needed was to know that this could help him get to Lynphea.

Brandon's curiosity got the better of him as he inquired, "Why are you helping me?"

Beatrix's response carried a cryptic tone, "Trust me I don't want to waste this rare item on you either but Stella is making her way here, and lets just say I'd rather have a private conversation with her that doesn't involve your presence. Now, please move aside."

With that, Brandon complied, making his exit from the scene.

LIGHT

Stepping outside of Alfea, Stella's voice echoed, "Brandon, where are you?" The solid barrier made it clear that nobody could exit, so she assumed Brandon must be nearby. Her search led her to a girl standing near the barrier. Concerned, Stella approached and inquired, "Excuse me, are you okay?"

As the girl turned around, Stella's astonishment was palpable. "Hello, Stella," the girl greeted. Stella struggled to believe her eyes, muttering, "Oh my goodness."

Overwhelmed by the unexpected encounter, Stella found herself at a loss for words. Instead, she hugged her without hesitation. "I can't believe this."

Beatrix's return, even if somewhat surreal, was a source of immense joy for Stella. Stella's curiosity was uncontainable, and she inquired, "Beatrix, what happened? How are you here?"

"The shadow, Stella, it resurrected me," Beatrix explained, her words carrying an unsettling truth.

Stella struggled to comprehend, asking in disbelief, "What? You must be kidding. How did you manage to escape him then?"

Beatrix lied, "It was a difficult escape. He had me imprisoned in the frozen woods. I was scared, but somehow I managed to break free."

Emotions swelled within Stella, who simply stated, "I'm just... I can't believe it. I'm so happy to see you again."

Beatrix's concern became apparent as she questioned, "So, you're not angry at me for what happened last year?"

Stella's response was swift and unwavering, "Of course not. How could I be? You saved us that day."

The reunion felt surreal to Stella, who remained unaware that Beatrix was merely a body controlled by the shadow. The shadow's deception was convincing, leading Stella to believe she was truly encountering her old friend. While in reality the real Beatrix was still trapped with Sky by the Shadow.

Beatrix's voice shifted, revealing her motive, "Stella, I'm here for a reason. I need your assistance."

Determined, Stella vowed, "Whatever you need, I'm here to help."

Beatrix disclosed her request, "I need you to uncover the location of Alfea's Codex. There's a Codex here, but its whereabouts are unknown, even from ordinary fairies. The headmaster, however, must have knowledge of it. Please, find a way to discover its location. It's crucial for me to obtain the Codex. The shadow is hunting me, and he will leave me alone and let me live if I give him the Alfean codex."

Stella was determined to help Beatrix. With Beatrix's welfare in mind, she agreed, vowing to find out the location of the Codex. With a resolute nod, Stella re-entered Alfea, intent on uncovering the information required to aid Beatrix.

ALFEA

In the midst of the party, Sky found himself alone, his search for Bloom yielding no results. Musa and Riven were still immersed in their quest to uncover the Codex's location, aware that time was swiftly slipping away. Musa's gaze fell upon Sky, realizing he was unaccompanied—a golden chance to rescue him from the shadow's influence. Bloom revealed earlier that he was controlled by the shadow, which proved he wasn't under Valtor's mark so it would be easier to save him, at least that's what Musa thought. She was still unsure of what would actually happen once she go inside his mind.

Just then, Stella entered the party, searching for the headmaster with an air of desperation, Musa took the opportunity to approach her.

"Stella," Musa called out.

Pausing briefly, Stella inquired, "I'm looking for Headmaster Avalon. Have you seen him?"

With urgency in her voice, Musa divulged, "Stella, there's something you need to know."

Terra, Aisha, and Kat joined the gathering as well, prompting Terra to inquire about the situation.

Musa informed them, "Bloom and Sky are at the party.". Then she pointed out to Sky who was standing alone trying to find Bloom, "Look Sky is alone, this is the perfect opportunity, we have to go now Stella".

"But I cant , Beatrix is here as well, I have to help her", Stella revealed.

The news caught them off guard, particularly Aisha, who disclosed, "That's not Beatrix, it's just her body being controlled by the shadow".

"How do you know this", Stella asked.

Aisha replied "I've been under the shadow's control too, just like Sky and Beatrix. Terra helped me."

Stella and Musa's reaction were a mixture of disbelief and astonishment.

It was all too much at once, first its revealed that Bloom and Sky are at the party, then its revealed that Aisha was apparently being controlled by the shadow which no one knew about except Terra, who has already saved Aisha as well, and then the news of Beatrix also being at the party.

"When did this happen?" Musa inquired, seeking more information.

Terra elaborated, "I used a potion my dad created to free Aisha from the shadow's grasp. But making the potion takes time. I can go back and make more but it'll take time"

The pressing reality was clear—time was a luxury they couldn't afford. Musa proposed a plan, "Terra, work on the potion as Plan B. Stella and I will proceed with Plan A—entering Sky's mind. We need to rescue him before he reunites with Bloom."

Terra agreed, understanding the urgency.

Stella was still in shock that Beatrix is being controlled by the shadow. Stella's heart wavered between disappointment and determination. The emotional moment she shared with Beatrix was a fake, yet it only fuelled her determination to save the real Beatrix and reunite with her.

Understanding the gravity of the situation, Aisha reassured them, "Musa, Stella, go save Sky. Terra and I will handle the potion and Beatrix."

Recognizing the importance of divided efforts, Stella conceded, "You're right, lets go save Sky", Stella said to Musa.

With a determined nod, Stella and Musa left to confront the challenge that awaited them within Sky's mind, they asked Riven to come along as well. Meanwhile, Terra went to the greenhouse to work with her dad on making another potion. Aisha and Kat went outside to find Beatrix.

FIRE

Bloom trailed after Andy, her curiosity piqued as he guided her to the Stone Circle. She voiced her intrigue, "Why have you brought me here?"

Unveiling his intent, Andy explained, "This place, Bloom, it's not just another spot. This Stone Circle serves as the source of magic for Alfea, amplifying its potency. It's the beating heart of Alfea's power."

Bloom retorted, acknowledging her awareness, "Sure, I get that, but the Codex isn't here. It's just stones, after all."

Contrary to her perception, Andy countered, "That's where you're mistaken. Sometimes, the answers lie beyond the obvious."

Puzzled, Bloom inquired, "And what's that supposed to mean?"

Andy said, "Channel your magic into the central stone. Break it. The truth will reveal itself."

Despite her reservations, Bloom decided to indulge in the experiment. She channelled her fiery dragon flame, shattering the stone with a surge of strength. She had to use a lot more power then she thought to break the stone, but the stone crumbled before her might. As seconds passed, she waited, yet nothing seemed to happen.

Impatient, she queried, "Now what?"

Andy, attentive to the ground beneath them, cautioned her, "Stand back."

Obeying his instruction, Bloom retreated slightly, watching as the ground within the Stone Circle began to tremble. The motion was localized to the circle's confines, leading to her alarmed question, "What's going on?"

Abruptly, a passage materialized within the ground—a set of descending stairs revealed itself. Andy gestured, inviting Bloom to lead the way. "After you", He said.

Intrigued by the unfolding mystery, Bloom embarked on the stairway, her steps resonating in the underground silence. Andy followed, the two of them descending deeper into the unknown in the quest to find the Codex hidden beneath Alfea.

MIND

Musa and Stella approached Sky. Their foremost task was to isolate him from the surrounding crowd, ensuring their conversation remained discreet. Musa initiated their plan, capturing Sky's attention with an enticing promise, "Sky, I've obtained the location of the Codex."

Intrigued, Sky responded readily, "Tell me more."

Seizing the moment, Musa directed him, "Come with me." Sky recognized the importance of safeguarding Codex's secrecy, agreeing to follow Musa to a more secluded location.

As they distanced themselves from the gathering, Stella and Riven discreetly positioned themselves, ready to implement their part of the plan. The timing had to be impeccable, and Musa's strategy was well-devised.

With a signal from Musa, Stella unleashed a burst of her illuminating light, momentarily blinding Sky. The brief disorientation granted Musa the window she needed to commence her spell.

Musa closed her eyes, immersing herself in concentration. She focused all her magic and succeeded. The result was instantaneous – Riven, Stella, and Sky fell on the ground. Musa's spell worked.

Musa, was now sitting, but only her physical body was. In reality, Stella, Musa and Riven were now inside Sky's mind and it was time to save him from the darkness.
