Fate The Winx Saga | Season 3 Episode 2 | A Bad Seed (2)
SPECIALIST
Sky woke up to find himself in a strange and frightening forest, shrouded in darkness. The trees were all black, and mysterious and hideous creatures flew in the sky as thunder rumbled in the distance. His memory was hazy; the last thing he remembered was meeting Flora at the bar, and then he found himself in this nightmarish place. He recalled being brought here by a shadow figure.
Feeling lost and fearful, Sky cautiously moved through the forest, hoping to find some answers. Strange birds and bats surrounded him, making eerie noises from all directions. He mustered the courage to call for help, but no one responded. As he reached the edge of the forest, the sight below terrified him. Darkness pervaded everything, and grotesque creatures roamed the land. Sky realized he was on the cliff of a mountain, looking down on this nightmarish realm.
Startled by a creature's gaze, Sky rushed back into the forest, the creature saw him as well. This bug-like creature was now chasing him. Although Sky was at the top of a mountain so he had an advantage. Panic-stricken, he fled, disturbing the bats in the process which were resting on trees, and they started chasing him as well. One of the bats bit him on the shoulder, causing immense pain. Blood started to flow from the wound, he fell down, and more bats came, closing in on him.
Just as it seemed that the bats would overpower him, Sky saw a girl in the distance. She whistled to attract the bats' attention and used her powers to defeat them, saving his life, electricity started coming out of her hands which knocked down the bats. The last thing he saw before losing consciousness was her, but he couldn't make out her face.
RISE OF DARKNESS
Deep within the frozen forest stood a dark and mysterious castle, cloaked in shadows. A voice echoed through its walls. "Shouldn't they be here by now?" The voice belonged to a girl.
"Don't worry, they'll be here," replied the shadow, a scary presence with a terrifying, faceless form, yet somehow alive. It gazed upon Stella and the other girls through a magic ball, they were preparing to save Isobel. But the shadow's attention was fixated on Sky. Sky's body was under control of shadow and he had ordered Sky to get Isobel.
Suddenly, the awaited individuals arrived: Marion and Ogron. A radiant burst of magic illuminated the room, and they materialized seemingly out of thin air. "Finally, out of the realm of darkness," Marion sighed with relief. She couldn't believe she was back in the Otherworld, a place she hadn't set foot in for a long time due to her magic weakness. "Welcome back, my Queen," greeted the shadow.
Marion's eyes fell on a girl, it was Beatrix! "So, this is the girl you resurrected?" she inquired.
"Yes, indeed," replied the shadow.
"And she's on our side?" Marion questioned further.
"You don't need to worry about that. Everyone I resurrect is on our side," the shadow assured her, a sinister undertone present in its words. Both Beatrix and Sky were possessed by the Shadow.
"Now, where is she?" the shadow inquired.
"Right here," a voice answered. The shadow scanned the room and there stood Bloom, but not exactly Bloom—this was Dark Bloom.
SPECIALIST
Sky found himself in a dimly lit cave, his senses slowly returning as he stirred. A soft light flickered nearby, revealing the silhouette of a girl gathering wood for a fire. It was the girl who saved his life from the bats. Abruptly, she turned, her eyes locking onto Sky's.
Recognition dawned upon Sky's face, a mixture of disbelief and astonishment. "Beatrix?" he uttered, his voice laced with shock. "How is that even possible?"
The girl stepped out of the shadows, her face illuminated by the dancing flames. It was indeed Beatrix.
"Finally, you're awake," Beatrix stated, her voice composed and enigmatic. "We have much to discuss." The gravity of her words hung in the air, casting an aura of mystery over their unexpected reunion.
FIRE
Back at the castle in the Frozen Forest. Intrigued, Dark Bloom inquired, "What actually happened to Sky, the real Sky?" Gazing into the orb, she witnessed Sky aiding the girls in locating Isobel, but this wasn't the real Sky, this was just his body being controlled by the shadow.
The shadow answered, "He is inside me. Just like the real Beatrix"
Bloom's expression turned puzzled, "Inside you? What does that even mean?" The shadow responded, "No cause for concern." The shadow started to question her intention.
Dark Bloom was surely different then Bloom, besides the change of looks, her emotions were changed as well, she was heartless and possessed a darker sense of humour compared to Bloom. She was now wearing a dark purple outfit; her hair was styled different as well.
Returning to the matter at hand, Bloom asserted, "Shall I start the plan, then? Fear not, Mother has briefed me extensively. I know my role."
The shadow concurred, "Very well." Bloom harnessed her magical powers, conjuring a portal and going through it.
Beatrix sought clarification, "Where has she gone?" The shadow promptly answered, "Lynphea."
Beatrix's curiosity persisted, "Could someone please tell the plan to me as well?" The shadow replied, "All you need to know is that you are going to Solaria, to cause a distraction." Beatrix's lips curved into a smirk, relieved to escape the confines of the tower. Marion's concern surfaced, "Can her loyalty be assured?" The shadow provided assurance, "Rest assured, it is merely me that resides in her as well, just like Sky, the real Beatrix is trapped, the people who I have in my control may still act like themselves but in reality, they are merely my servants while their real souls are trapped inside my mind which is filled with an illusion of the realm of darkness".
ERACKLYON
The girls and Sky had a clever plan to rescue Isobel before she could be taken to Lynphea. Thanks to Thoren, they had all the information about when, where, and how the guards were moving Isobel.
The plan went into action. Terra and Sky took the first step, aiming to distract the king and queen in a smart way. The king was supposed to guard Isobel during the transfer, and he was very attentive. So, Sky and Terra needed to keep them busy. Sky went to talk to the monarchs casually. While he did that, Terra hid behind some plants. She used her magic to create a big branch that tripped Sky and made him stumble. The idea was to make the king and queen feel something was wrong. They got worried, thinking there might be a danger. Terra made more branches, leading them on a twisty path. The king took out his sword, hurrying to help Sky. They followed Terra's leafy trail and ended up in a room while Sky stayed behind pretending to be hurt. Terra locked the door to keep them inside. The king and queen shouted for help, but it was only a matter of time before they would break free.
The next part of the plan involved Aisha. The guards guided Isobel into a room with an open portal to Lynphea.
Portals are activated using a special magic device that might look like a Rubik's Cube to the fairies from the first world. But it's a way to move between different realms. It's rare and only used by the rich or royals. Every kingdom has one. To use it, you create specific patterns, one does not have to learn the patterns, it can easily be found using the Otherworld internet services. Each realm has its own pattern. In this case, the Rubix Cube-like device was set up with the right pattern, opening a portal to Lynphea.
The guards led Isobel closer to the portal's edge.
Aisha was hiding behind a statue, she used her water powers, making the floor wet and slippery. Meanwhile, Stella stayed hidden and invisible, waiting for Aisha to make a distraction so she could rescue Isobel. Isobel had special bracelets that stopped her magic, but Stella skilfully removed them without the guards noticing. Isobel realized it, but she didn't show any reaction.
By this time, Sky and Terra had also joined the scene. "You're not allowed in here," the guards scolded, giving Sky and Terra stern looks. They had come to help create a diversion. Aisha kept using her water powers, making the floor even wetter.
The guards found themselves confused, unsure of what was happening. Then, suddenly, Aisha unleashed a big wave that surprised them. "Now, Stella!" Aisha's voice rose above the chaos. The guards took out their swords, ready to fight, their attention away from Isobel. Stella remained slightly away from Isobel, careful not to be touched by the guards, even though she was invisible. But her chance came, and just as Stella was about to save Isobel, she saw something unexpected outside the window. It was none other than... BEATRIX! She was standing outside, looking at Stella through the window
"Beatrix," Stella exclaimed, surprised. Her invisibility faded, and she became visible again. Seeing Beatrix shocked her so much that she lost her focus on staying invisible. She couldn't believe her eyes
Aisha kept shouting to Stella, but Stella didn't hear her. It was as if the whole world had stopped for Stella, and everything around her was still and all she saw was her dead-friend standing very much alive outside the window.
The guards, now aware of the situation, moved quickly to take Isobel and lead her through the portal. Even though Isobel was no longer wearing the magic bracelets, she didn't fight back, which puzzled everyone. Sky couldn't let this happen. He was under the control of the Shadow, who had ordered him to get Isobel, which was why he had been helping all along. He followed them through the portal. Terra hesitated for a moment before also going through after Sky.
The portal closed. With both Terra and Sky now gone to Lynphea.
This caused Stella to blink her eyes for just a second but as she opened them, Beatrix was gone. Stella continued looking at where Beatrix had been, her face a mix of confusion and disbelief. Aisha realized that the King and Queen were about to arrive, so she took Stella's arm and quickly led her away from the scene. Some guards were still there, who stayed behind, they followed Stella and Aisha because they had tried to break Isobel out.
All of a sudden, Stella broke free from Aisha's grip and ran off. Aisha called out to her, but Stella was determined. She wanted to go beyond the castle walls, to find out if Beatrix was really there. Aisha tried to follow, but she lost track of Stella in the winding corridors. Before long, the sound of approaching footsteps indicated the arrival of more guards, those who had followed Aisha and Stella from the earlier room. Aisha acted swiftly, seeking refuge in a nearby room and closing the door. She listened carefully as the guards searched the area, their footsteps echoing in pursuit.
WATER
Aisha waited inside the room until the guards left. After a while, the noise stopped. She tried to open the door but it wouldn't open. It was stuck. Suddenly, a voice came from the darkness of the room. Aisha felt scared because she couldn't see anything in the dark. "Hello? Is someone there?" she called out, her voice echoing.
Then, something moved in the darkness. Aisha got scared, but she didn't want to give up easily. Her eyes lit up, and she got ready to defend herself. But then the thing emerged from the darkness – it was a Shadow! Something strange happened next. Aisha's eyes started glowing, and so did the shadows. The shadow had possessed Aisha as well, just like Sky and Beatrix.
LIGHT
Stella stepped outside and shouted Beatrix's name. Prince Theoren saw her from a window and followed her. Stella caught a quick glimpse of Beatrix again, just a bit of her dress as she went through a closing door. Stella was sure it was her. Theoren called out to her, but she didn't answer. She kept chasing after Beatrix.
She was determined to reunite with Beatrix, no matter what.
WATER
Aisha, now controlled by the shadow's influence, came out of the room and spotted guards rushing toward her. Reacting swiftly, she began to run, eventually reaching the outdoors where she found Stella.
Instinctively, she followed Stella's lead as they pursued the path Beatrix had taken. However, their chase eventually came to a halt, leading them to a dead end. "Stella, we need to make our escape," Aisha urgently advised. Finally comprehending the danger they were in, Stella nodded in agreement. It was evident that the guards were relentless in their pursuit.
Amidst the tension, Prince Theoren managed to catch up with them.
They hid themselves in a stable situated outside the castle. Recognizing the absence of Beatrix, Stella realized that their best course of action was to leave Eracklyon as the guards were after them. Across the castle grounds, the guards were methodically scouring every nook and cranny, their determination unwavering. "Our only escape is through a portal, and the nearest one is located in a windrider's shop within the nearby village," Stella informed Thoren. The guards were everywhere, there was no way for Stella and Aisha to reach the village without the guards spotting them, they needed another portal.
Theoren handed over the magic transportation cube of Eracklyon to Stella. Overwhelmed by surprise, Stella was shocked. The cube was a valuable royal artifact, each royal family only had one.
"Are you serious?" Stella exclaimed, her disbelief evident. Theoren's nodded, urging them to instantly use it before the guards find them. Stella, grasping the urgency of the situation, nodded appreciatively. With the cube in her possession, Stella searched for the pattern of Alfea in cube using Otherworld internet. She found it and activated the cube; the cube created a portal to Alfea. Without hesitation, Stella and Aisha stepped through.
As the guards reached the stable, all they found was Prince Thoren. As for Stella and Aisha, they found themselves not only free but also in possession of the invaluable transportation cube of Eracklyon.
LITTLE STORM
"Can you explain where we are?" Sky inquired, his curiosity piqued.
Beatrix's response carried an air of uncertainty. "It might be hell, that's how I've come to think of it. In truth, I'm just as much in the dark. All I recall is dying, followed by being brought here by a shadow. The reasons and means behind it remain beyond my grasp."
Sky's own experiences seemed to resonate with Beatrix's account. "Hold on, I think a shadow did something to me too. I was at a bar, stepped outside, and noticed a shadow lurking in a dark corner. It interacted with me somehow, and the next thing I knew, I was here."
Beatrix nodded, indicating a shared understanding. "Yes, I suspect it's the shadow from the realm of Darkness."
Sky voiced his confusion. "But how is that possible? Didn't Bloom close the portal?"
"It appears Bloom's actions might have been too late. The shadow may have managed to escape before the portal was sealed.", Beatrix suggested.
Sky's concern deepened. "What exactly do you know about this shadow?"
"I have limited information, but I do know that this shadow once posed a grave threat to our world. It nearly caused the planet's destruction, until it was banished to the realm of darkness. However, it seems that Sebastian's actions have led to its release."
Sky's resolve strengthened. "We need to escape from here and warn others."
Beatrix's response, tinged with a sense of resignation, painted a grim picture. "At this point, our primary objective should be survival within this realm. You can't imagine the horrors that inhabit this place. Trust me, I've seen it.", as Beatrix said this, her face was covered with sadness, maybe even a tear was trying to break free from her eyes. Sky felt sorry for her, clearly, she's been here for days and it hasn't been easy.
THE HEART GROWS OLD
Silva sat in Farah's Alfea office, having a talk with Queen Luna through a big floating hologram.
Silva had important things to tell Queen Luna.
"Queen Luna, I have found some information about the shadow as you asked," Silva said.
Queen Luna was interested. "Tell me, Silva."
Silva went on, "This shadow can do many things, like controlling minds. It uses its eyes for that. It doesn't just tell people what to think; it takes over their whole body. A little part of the shadow gets inside that person, locking their soul away and trapping it inside the shadows mind. While the shadow takes charge of their body. And it doesn't stop there. It can also make people turn bad. The shadow tricks them with fancy offers, making them choose to do bad things. But the scariest thing is that it can bring back the dead. Not like bringing them back to life, but more like trapping their soul in its own mind and making their body move and controlling it."
This was why Queen Luna was so eager to find Isobel. The shadow used to be a wizard, a magic user from a long time ago. Wizards are gone now, but this shadow used to be one of them. He could control ice, just like Isobel. Queen Luna thought if they understood Isobel's weaknesses, they'd understand the shadow's too. Ice magic can sometimes make people do bad things, like it brings out the dark side in them. That's why there were big fights in the past to stop this magic. Now it's back, and it's in Isobel. And according to rumors, the shadow is back too.
All of a sudden, the hologram disappeared. Silva lost his talk with Queen Luna. The lights in the room started blinking and getting darker. It felt eerie. Silva was confused.
He tried the doorknob, but it wouldn't move. It was stuck. He turned around, and there it was – a SHADOW.
"Looks like you know a lot about me," the shadow said in a scary, strange voice.
"Stay away!" Saul Silva shouted, looking for something to throw at the shadow. But it didn't work because the shadow wasn't really there. He tried the door again, but it was stuck tight.
"Why not see something interesting?" the shadow suggested.
Suddenly, the lights came back on. Someone was sitting in the headmaster's chair, but it was turned around, so Silva couldn't see who it was. Slowly, the chair turned, and there sat Farah. Silva couldn't believe what he was seeing.
"Hello Saul," Farah said, standing up from the chair. Silva was shocked and surprised by this unexpected appearance.
LYNPHEA
A woman was watering the plants in her shop, but these were no ordinary plants. They held magical properties and a unique way of communicating, mainly with Earth fairies who could sense their emotions. These plants were exclusive to the realm of Lynphea, originating and remaining solely within its borders. They could not speak but nature fairies could feel their emotions.
An unusual scared emotion passed through the plants, catching the woman's attention. She was an Earth fairy so she could feel something was wrong, the plants were feeling scared all of a sudden. Just as she was about to investigate further, a customer entered the shop. A red-haired girl, Bloom, seemed ordinary enough, and the woman greeted her kindly. "How may I assist you?" she inquired.
However, Bloom's intentions were far from kind.
"I'm looking for the Codex and you're going to tell me exactly where it is", Bloom ordered.
The word "Codex" triggered an immediate understanding within her. A quick glance at the plants confirmed her suspicion – they were warning her about Bloom.
"Excuse me?" the woman replied cautiously.
Bloom's tone grew sharper, demanding information about the Codex. The woman's eyes glinted with determination as she prepared to defend herself. Her magic, rooted in nature, conjured branches from a nearby tree, ready to strike. But Bloom noticed the impending attack and ended it by setting the branches on fire. The woman faltered, weakened by Bloom's fiery response. Despite her weakened state, her resolve held firm. "I will never reveal the Codex's location. Leave now," she commanded.
Bloom's response was laced with a chilling determination. "You've misunderstood me. I'm not asking; I'm telling you that you will tell me the exact location of the Codex," she asserted.
Bloom's eyes glowed with an ominous intensity as she unleashed her power, igniting the shop and burning it in flames. The plants, once vibrant and alive, were consumed by the destructive force. The plants were dying and the women could feel the pain of the plants, it was horrible, she couldn't stand seeing them being tortured and killed.
The woman, desperate to save what remained, finally agreed to help Bloom. "Wait," she pleaded, surrendering to Bloom's demand. She recognized the futility of resisting against the unstoppable force that was the Dragon Flame.
Bloom's smirk spoke of her dominance as she realized her victory was assured. The power of the Dragon Flame was a force to be reckoned with, leaving no room for opposition.
THE HEART GROWS OLD
Saul was amazed, caught between disbelief and wonder. It was like a dream come true. Farah, the woman he loved deeply, stood right there. He couldn't help but question if this was real or a illusion. Yet, his heart was so full of joy.
"Is this... is this real?" Saul muttered, his voice tinged with awe.
Farah responded, a hint of playfulness in her tone. "Out of all things, that's what you ask?"
Saul hesitated, his emotions welling up. He gathered his thoughts and opened up about his regrets. "I'm sorry, Farah."
Farah's eyes showed understanding. "Sorry? For what?"
Saul's words carried a weight of remorse. "For not protecting you, for not foreseeing the danger when Rosalind returned. I should've been there for you."
Farah's gaze was warm and forgiving. "The past is set, Saul. What matters is what we can do now to heal and move forward."
Saul's curiosity piqued. "How can we do that, Farah? you died"
A glimmer of hope danced in Farah's eyes. "The shadow has the power to bring me back to life. With its help, we can mend what's been broken. All you have to do is join his side"
Saul's caution flared. He knew the shadow's dark history, its potential for harm.
In a flash, Farah transformed into the shadow. Its voice held an enticing promise. "Join me, Saul. Embrace this chance to have what you desire. I can bring Farah back."
"I won't be fooled by your tricks.", Saul said, a tear came out of his eye after seeing Farah but he wiped it and was ready to fight.
With determination, Saul lunged at the shadow, sword cutting through the air. Yet, the shadow dissolved like mist, slipping from his grasp.
As the shadow vanished, Saul wondered what the shadows motives were, why did the shadow want Saul to join his side.
